The Towee Pro Trailer is built with the same attention to quality, durability and performance as our skiffs. Built in house, our trailers are designed for the owner who may be launching from a bridge abutment where there is no ramp one day and running cross country at high speed down the interstate the next - for years at a time.
When we started the company, we were told by the experts that no one would pay to put a quality trailer under a small skiff. The market was ruled by thin rectangular tubing frames, the cheapest lights, Chinese bearings, plastic fenders, cheap rollers and tiny 12 inch wheels with tires that couldn't be trusted for reliable interstate travel and certainly not for repeated use over rough roads. We knew that offering our customers a high quality trailer was a little more expensive on the front end and that we would even lose a few sales because we didn't offer a cheap, disposable trailer but we also knew it was the right thing to do.
Based on experiences gained from years of traveling cross country with boats and the owner's family's three generations in the trailer business, our trailers start with a beefy frame of open C channel - not thin rectangular tubing that can hold water and facilitate rust. Next we add a thick, industrial grade galvanizing, true marine axles by Dexter and vaulted no maintenance hubs. You wont find any plastic fenders here - all of our fenders are steel or aluminum and thick enough for a full sized (or even oversized) adult to walk on. Our sealed LED lighting is of the highest quality and ride in rugged light boxes that protect them from all the things that just seem to jump behind you at the ramp. And these are just a few of the standard features. We also offer fully welded aluminum trailers.
And we don't just build them for ourselves, Towee Trailers have become the choice of other quality builders as well. We even build replacement drift boat trailers and trailers for other brands of skiffs and jet sleds. We even build full custom trailers. Please give us a call for all of your trailer needs - we'd be glad to help.
